Phone calls and cards

Yesterday we got lots of phone calls since it was a combined celebration of Valentine's day and my birthday. It was great fun to hear from friends and family and to have a good visit. I could even get my mom to understand what I was trying to say to hear. Usually she does not get any phone conversation since she is so hard of hearing. Some of the cards were real funny and others carried a nice message. I even received a few e-cards which are always fun to open. So it was a nice day and I appreciate all of the good wishes.
