Settling in

We are getting settled in here in Denton, TX. This means lots of trips to the storage unit to bring back lawn chairs and take other things we no longer need like suitcases. Then we have had to make several trips to nearby stores for groceries and other stuff. In the meantime we went to a favorite store, Cost Co to pick up a hearing aid that they had repaired for me. The last time we were here we left it for repairs and they called to let us know that it was ready to be picked up. We went about lunch time and they had lots of samples, so many in fact that we never did get or fix lunch.

We have been over to the kids house to see if they needed anything from Cost Co and could see all of the progress made by Kim in her unpacking. Now they even have pictures up on the walls and Chuck plans to get the garage organized today so that when he returns next week he will have a place to park his car too.

Kim is going to California this coming week for 4-5 days for a clarinet conference and we will be taking care of the boys. Foxy is already planning field trips after getting input from the boys. We will be kept busy for sure.

It is quite hot and muggy here. Kerrville was hot but dryer and we did not notice the heat as much as we do here. It is also a few degrees hotter like 103 degrees which add to the discomfort. I am looking forward to fall and cooler weather.

We met a nice couple at the grocery store who also are full timers living in their motor home. They are staying in a park about ten miles East of here which is less expensive. We may look into that. Happy travels.
