Sunday, an early Thanksgiving

Sunday, Kim and Chuck invited us and also her retired former Professor of Clarinet, Jim and his wife Cheryl for an early Thanksgiving dinner. We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed our family and time with Jim and Cheryl. As usual conversation flowed. After horsd'oeuvres we sat down to a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, green beans, broussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie and pecan pie. We waddled away from the table. The whole family had pitched in to make this feast including the boys with pumpkin pie. After dinner, I washed lots of dishes and Chuck dried with the boys putting things away. The kids will be in San Antonio to meet a sister and family for the actual Thanksgiving day. Happy travels.
