Quiet Saturday

After a cold night, great sleeping weather though, I got up to frost on the grass. Once we got our acts together we went off to IHOP for breakfast ordering off of the over 55 menu. Then we went to the storage unit for some Christmas wrapping paper and then on to Krogers for material for dinner tonight. Foxy is having trouble with her left thumb and got a shot for it on Thursday and we have been trying to eat easy dinners which do not require much attention. Last night we had steamed dinners and vegetables and tonight it will be other TV type dinners. We are trying to lose a pound or two before traveling to Albuquerque for a Christmas holiday with Jerry, Marlene and family.

We did stop at Kim's on the way home but she was busy cleaning and had to take a student to the airport so we did not stay. Once home it proved to be a quiet rest of the day but we did get walks in since today turned out to be sunny. Foxy is reading a book, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." I had already read all three books by this Swedish author and thoroughly enjoyed all three. Now we are waiting for the movie to come out and see how closely it follows the book. Happy travels.
