The kids and grands left for San Antonio on Wednesday, late. They planned to meet Kim's sister Kristy and family for a Thanksgiving get together. The kids from here were looking forward to seeing the cousins and playing cards, too. They had planned to go to Sea World and do the River Walk, see the Alamo and other fun attractions in the area. We looked after their dogs Rosie and Violet while they were gone. It meant four quiet days for us.
On Sunday we joined St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. We have been visiting for several months and liked the friendly congregation and ministers and especially appreciated the quality of the music in the service. There were two other Presbyterian churches in Denton, but John W. our minister in Kerrville had recommended St. Andrew. Now we can enjoy working with this community of believers. It is good to settle into a church home. Happy travels.
