Kids and grands for dinner

We decided to invite the kids and grands over for Sunday supper.   After Church we went to our favorite grocery store, Kroger to get necessary supplies and gas for the car.   If you buy enough groceries they give you a credit toward the gasoline.   Today gas cost $3.33 a gallon.   A bargain for sure.   Once we got home we began to prepare food.   We had sweet corn to be roasted on the grill, three kinds of bratwurst, barbeque steak left over from last night, red potatoes with poppy seed vinagrette and cowboy  beans.  Finally we had fresh fruit and whipped topping for dessert.   No one left hungry and I had no room for fruit.   I think breakfast would be a good time to revisit the fruit.

Best of all we were together and had a good time eating and visiting.   Max loved the whole thing, only missing Violet and Rose.   Happy travels.
