Happy Birthday, Darrell

Linda and Darrell used to be work campers here at our RV park, and we have become good friends over the years. Linda asked HW2 to get some of Darrell's buddies together for a surprise birthday breakfast at IHOP today. So we asked Duane and Dot, Jerry and Cathy, Dick and Gracie to attend. We were there by 9:00am and surprised Darrell when he and Linda came in a bit later. Of course, we all talked non stop and didn't seem to mind the wait for food a bit. Darrell turned 60 this week, and Linda has been arranging something each day to extend his birthday celebration throughout the week. We all know and enjoy each other and loved trying to surprise him. Happy birthday, Darrell! Sixty seems young to me, He opened our cards and several small bottles of gin of the type you used to be able to get on airplanes. He even got two bottles of Blue Sapphire Gin, which we had introduced him too last year. We had to leave early to get HW2 to her physical therapy session, but breakfast with friends was a great way to start today. Happy travels.
